Cereal time!

So, yesterday I was thinking to myself that I was sick of the same old wheetabix or oatmeal for breakfast (although, Jonathon did make me delicious bacon, egg and buttered toast yesterday. kinda ironic!)

I found an incredible recipe - yes, INCREDIBLE - for buckwheat granola. It involves freshly sprouting buckwheat, something I had never done until a couple of days ago, so if you want to make this, plan in advance.
I followed the directions from the Sproutpeople to sprout my groats. Here's the link.
Carmella's granola recipe involves a bunch of ingredients, but I didn't have a lot of them. So, my recipe includes the following: raisins, walnuts, sesame seeds (and then I mushed everything together with dates ground with agave nectar). I dehydrated it all night long and was delighted this morning to have a bowlful of crispy heaven, splashed with some velvety almond coconut milk.

The cereal on the right is Cocoa Buckwheaties, another delight found on goneraw.com here.

Now, back to studying for finals! Now I have some REAL fuel to keep me going : )
