Almond Milk

A scrumptious morning to you! I woke up at 6:30 this Sunday morning to begin my quest to do early morning meditation and yoga. I didn't do any yoga but I did do silent meditation for 20 minutes. I will gradually integrate yoga into my morning practice so as to make it a more habitual occurrence.
After my meditation I whipped up some creamy Almond Milk. I decided to take a picture of my breakfast setup because I know that later on, when I am stressed out, I can just look at this picture and remember my absolute favorite part of the day.
How to make almond milk:
Ingredients
1 cup soaked raw almonds (soak in water overnight)
5 cups water
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3 tbsp raw agave nectar
Directions
Blend the water and raw almonds (minus soak water) until smooth,
Use a cheesecloth to strain out the pulp and pour into a pitcher. Save the pulp for another recipe.
Rinse out the blender and pour the almond milk back in. Add in the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.
Enjoy with cereals, smoothies, etc!
