The Daily Raw

Wow. I found a great new site called The Daily Raw. (pic above credited to Teri Lynn at The Daily Raw).
After perusing the site for a lovely while, I came upon a delish collard greens recipe. Of course I've heard about traditional Southern-style collard greens, but never had I actually sampled the dish. At least, not that I can remember - which means that if I did, the "killed' version of this dish was probably not good enough to remember ; )
Well, The Daily Raw has provided us all with a "living" alternative to collard greens. Teri Lynn offers a great technique to prepare the greens by cutting out the thick stalks, rolling the greens into "cigar rolls" and chopping into strips. The marinade includes olive oil, sundried tomatoes, red peppers and some other delicious stuffies. The recipe can be found here.
I enjoyed the greens with some sun dried tomato bread spread with some avocado mayo (just plain avocado). YUM.
